Start 2015 with a commitment to honoring who you are, exactly as you are today – only when we have awareness of who we are right now can we manifest change in our lives. It is scientifically proven that a clear and focused mind leads to better physical and emotional well-being.  Practicing meditation is a simple way to raise our self-awareness and learn to quiet our minds.  In this four-week class, you will be introduced to the practice of meditation in an open, comfortable, fun, and easy way.  We will explore the history of various paths of meditation, show you simple tools you can use daily and help empower you to find a practice that works best in your life right now.  Some techniques/practices we will explore include mindfulness breathing, japa (or repetition of a mantra), chanting, guided visualization and deep relaxation.

Many have asked for a group singing class and HERE IT IS! Making sound and singing songs can keep us happy and well. We will learn about proper breathing and vocal technique as well as explore how sounding/chanting through our chakras can clear our mind and body on a daily basis. If you are afraid to sing, this class is for you! If you have had someone in your life say “you can’t sing” this class is for you! If you already sing and want to feel more confident or empowered this class is for you! Singing is our birthright and such an easy, fun and empowering tool for creating the well-being we crave.
